About this session:
The changes to the cleaning and disinfection industry, stemming from the pandemic, have created long-term impacts. From the processes we use to clean and disinfect our buildings, to the legal requirements for manufacturers of cleaning products and technologies, regulatory changes on both the state and federal level have been significant. The session will provide an overview of the recent legal and regulatory updates impacting the cleaning industry as well as an overview of emerging technologies surrounding air and surface cleaning and disinfection.
1. Provide an overview of the governmental agencies responsible for regulating the cleaning industry, manufacturers and vendors.
2. Share recent updates to governmental regulations and industry standards impacting the cleaning industry (e.g., EPA, FDA, OSHA, ANSI, etc.)
3. Discuss potential future regulatory changes and industry standards and how can the industry can have a voice.
4. Increase knowledge of emerging cleaning and disinfection technologies and considerations upon selection.
